Mitchelstown's Minor team lost out to Carrigaline in Round 1 of this year's Premier 1 Football Championship.

The lads tried hard & found themselves just a point down at half time but unfortunately, tiredness was a factor due to the size of the panel available on the night & Carrig pushed on in the second half to win on a scorline of 2-16 to 0-15.

We still remain in the competition & we believe Bishopstown will be next up where we hope a good performance will sre us progress.
