Our U12 footballers played Carrigtwohill in Ballygiblin on Friday 25th of August. In what could be described as very slippery conditions both teams served up a cracker.

Carrig led by 4 points at half time 1-6 to 1-2. Town threw everything at them in the opening 10 mins of 2nd half scoring 1-4 without reply.

For the remainder of the game it was nip & tuck, nothing between the sides.

As our lads tired & with time nearly up Carrig struck for a goal in injury time and a free from the restart, to leave the Town lads devastated.

Each player deserves great credit for a huge performance in this game.

Final score Town 3-8 to Carrigtwohill's 4-9.
