2017 REBEL OG FOOTBALL SQUADS ARE LAUNCHED.

On Saturday afternoon in Cork IT GAA grounds in Bishopstown, the Rebel Og Football Squads at U16  & U15  were launched ahead of their competitions in early July following a six-month trial period which included training camps, inter-regional tournaments and on-going trials.

Aaron O'Brien has progressed from last year's u14 team to take his place in a 48 player Under 15 panel.

Aaron is a bright talent & is a player that can comfortably line out in any position on the field from 1 to 15.

He has shown with his Club how well he can adapt from defence all the way through to attack & has also shown his goal keeping prowess when standing between the posts.

Also, as part of the football  squad announcements, the Cork Northern Regional Development team at u14 level  was launched & again we are fortunate to have a number of players involved with this team. They are Cormac Keane-Hyland, Ryan Donegan, Stephen Kenneallu & Dylan Sheehan.

We're certain that these boys will enjoy the programme of events set out for them over the Summer months by Rebel Og & will improve all aspects of their game as they develope as players for Club & County.

We congratulate all five players, their parents, families, their Club & School whose coaching has helped to get them to this level & we look forward to watching the boys progress over the coming months.
