Just a quick note on today's u15 football tournament in Carrigaline. This was a 10 aside tournament with 2 subs. Unfortunately we had only 10 players today but those that attended did themselves proud.

Our first game v Carrigaline was a brilliant game. We narrowly lost by 2 points. Carraigline looked the  better team by far but our defense was brilliant and our ability to score goals kept us in the game until the end.

Our second game was v Nemo Rangers, we were slow to start and found ourselves 2.2 down after 10 mins. We gradually got into the game & got the upper hand our our city opposition by the end and won by 5 points.

Because one team failed to turn up meant that we didn't have to play a third game. Carraigline then hammered Nemo so we finished in 2nd place.

This tournament proved to be a great day out and everyone enjoyed it. The boys did themselves proud & proved that we are well capable of mixing it up with the bigger Clubs .

Thanks to the parents who drove and to the four u14 lads that played.
