Despite Cork's loss to Kerry in last evenings Munster Minor Football Championship Semi-Final, Mitchelstown's gaels are very proud of the efforts of Lorcan Finn, Mark Keane & Cathail O'Mahony who gave their all in both of Cork's Championship games this year.
It's just unfortnate the way the draw has fallen that this team do not progress through the All-Ireland Series as depite last nights defeat there is an opinion that this was one of Cork's strongest Minor teams in a long time & could have had a major say on things later in the summer.
However, it was not to be & so Kerry & Clare meet in July's Munster Final, a repeat of the first round game which Kerry won by 13 points.
We wish Cathail a speedy recovery from an injury that lead to his early replacement last night.
